BNN News: From Bible Club to Church Service

Being back in Thailand has been quite a blast! On Friday, I returned to Baan nana to teach English. Some of the kids that previously joined are now attending school! Praise God!

On Saturday, they had an appreciation day. We were encourage by they're thoughtfulness. In that program, the staffs had also wanted to share their problems with the kids and how they can all work together to achieve goals.

Recently, the Baan nana Christian staff has formed a cell group and so every Saturday we would have a prayer meeting with dinner included! =)

Many things has been changing with Baan nana, and it's for the better. Previously, we would have a Bible Club for the kids every Sunday. Now, the Christian staffs will be taking over and having a proper service for both youth and children. The kids have been very active and we're all seeing the change in their lives.

Loving you always

Goodbyes seems almost normal to me, but this one I just couldn't overcome. No, it'll never be overcomed. This goodbye was to my dearest sister Lydia. She is going to be studying in Singapore at EAST Bible college for two years.
Here's a song I wrote for you Jie.

Traveled life together

Each path that we take
Each step of the way
God guide us through all days
Guide us through night and day

Oh and I feel like life's so amazing
I can't explain how much you mean to me

Life's slowly changing
Finding our way through life
You've been a blessing Jie
I'll see you over there

We've come a long way
We've traveled life together
I can't explain how much you mean to me

This song has expressed my feelings and I want to say I LOVE YOU JIE!!

BUSY- but not under Satan's yoke

Hello, Hello!

This week has been filled with many many activities. And the highlight of it was the Basic Life Seminar. It made me check my attitutes towards God, made restitutions and some vows.
It has taught me that life is never easy, but God will guide me through rough times because he allows for this kind of trials to mould a godly character in me. It taught me that when I face temptations I need to quote scripture to help me through. Engraft Romans 6 into my soul and make it my second nature.

I've been so busy, so God, please give me wisdom to set my piorities right.

FiFtEen Years

Fifteen years of life on earth. Wow! That flew by just too fast. Dad was telling me how I wasn't the "baby" or a young girl anymore. Sometimes I do wish I could go back to the innocent days playing in a carefree mode.
I just want to thank my family for this special day. You guys made it SOO special, suprising me with little details I won't even think of! And my friends! You all sent those little birthday wishes and the photots! Ahhh.. makes my heart melt! =))
And lastly, I'll like to thank the Lord for giving me fifteen years of life on this earth He made. I feel so blessed and I know I'm resting in His hands.

Teacher, just one more story!

So today was the first day of lessons at Baan na na for the kids that don't go to school.
There were about 15 kids and they were attentive! Better than expected.
We taught them the alphabets and the sounds of the letters- phonectics. The age range is so wide and so it was hard to teach them all. But with the grace of God, they were all quite attentive!

Tonight there was a prayer meeting and it was uplifting! One girl - Agar was telling me that her parents were Buddist, she asked," If they did good will they go to heaven? "No they wouldn't" And if they were going to die and believe the Lord at the last moment will they go to heaven. " Yes" " But why not now?Isn't it better to believe now?" She nodded and we prayed together. =)) Do pray for her, she's such a young girl with curiousity and a love for Christ.

Reminded

This morning, I woke up to find a dead birdie outside of our house. Feathers all over from the balcony all the way to the grass. Aragon must have been the 'predator'. (tsk tsk, I fed him didn't I?)

As my dad was clearing it up, I was reminded that life is in God's hands. He controls our lives and He has different plans for us. For this bird, it must have been venturing on its own,-outside the protection of it's boundaries or its 'safe' areas. And thus, he was a prey to predators.

This lesson reminds me that I have my boundaries set by my authorities. And I have to respect it otherwise I might be a non-innocent 'prey'.

Life slowly changing...

W.E.L.C.O.M.E.

This blog has been created mainly because my sister is leaving for Singapore and there wouldn't be an "updater" on our ministry here in Thailand. It's also a place where I can share my thoughts about life. :)
I pray in all that I write, it'll glorify Jesus.
